Good books/review articles on collective intelligence/social computing

Any pointers on some good review books/articles on the varieties and properties of computer-supported collective intelligence AKA social computing? I'm trying to pull together an overview of the area and the amount of material is overwhelming, so I'm looking for good summaries. I'm already aware of:wikinomicsinfotopiathe wisdom of crowdshere comes everybodycognitive surpluswealth of networksAny other good sources?    Thanks,MarkSee More

measuring signal to noise ratios using argument maps - request for pointers

I've become interested in the signal to noise ratios of different types of media and one way I've tried to measure it is simply count the number of posts it takes to represent a given item (e.g. a web forum or newspaper article) as an argument map, compared to the number of words in the item. I've done a few examples:83 words/post for Wall Street Journal article on global warming67 words/post for UK PIRC "climate safety" report267 words/post for Italian Omniauto web forum459 words/post for…See More

Ah-ha! Sometimes spidering is rewarding; I found your way of treating the *cough* personal dynamics worth noting in your Collaboratorium video, yes?
