What shall we call ourselves? The Result...

Many thanks to everyone who voted over the last 48 hours—and particularly to Mark Szpakowski who suggested the two names that topped our first poll.

The result of the second poll was a follows:

Mindful of the votes over the last 48 hours for various other names, I suggest that we regard ourselves as being ever open to the possibility of a further name change; if and when the perfect name emerges.

But for now, Global Sensemaking it is (and we are).

I have purchased the .net, .com and .org domain names on behalf of the group this evening, and will set the URL change in motion now.

Thanks again to everyone—and let's start making sense of climate change...

For speed of making our activity public, we could simply point this domain to the Ning community frontpage.

But we can set up as fast as possible a front website (Wordpress blog?) that introduces our mission: I have just created http://globalsensemaking.wordpress.com

This would then link to the Ning community for the current example of Climate Change Debate
