About me:
A "librarian" since 1974, I have been invovled with larger issues of knowledge management in the digital environment for over 20 years. Part of my work has focused on intrenational environmental conservation. I am a member of the World Commission on Protected Areas (of IUCN) and a past member of the Species Survival Commission. I am a member of the Steering Committee of the Conservation Commons.
I have also served on advisory bodies for the US National Science Digital Library and the US National Biological Information Infrastructure (among many other peer review activities).
