I just joined the network and I'm wondering, who is this "ShadowMan" with no picture?

This was very much an impulse choice to join, however since dialogue is a passion for me it was an educated impulse. I find myself an earthwoman among geektechs perhaps, but I'll find my way into meaningful participation. What gave you to joining this network; what is your slice of dialogue?

Oh, PS. One-half of my heritage is Danish! My maternal Grandma and paternal Grandpa's parents immigrated from Denmark. I'm from the USA, from a mid-sized city and college town called Madison in the Mid-West/Great Lakes state of Wisconsin.
