I am a marketer that follows new and emerging technologies and innovative and creative people. I think collaborative technologies have a lot of potential in solving long-term, complex problems.
Thanks for the extra background. As you can see, we are in the early stages of gathering together as a group, and plan to reach out to the wider community once we have fully established our identity. I am sure that your expertise will be invaluable in both phases of our work.
I have been reading, and enjoying, various Twitter feeds via RSS for a while now; but haven't crossed over to writing yet. I'll put that right soon—and your use of Twitter is a fine exemplar. The Stowe Boyd quote is excellent too, and you are right that the same spirit underpins our collaboration here.
Thanks also for links to the network visualizations. If you still have the original link to the review of Jonathan Zittrain's book (via which you found us), it would be great if you could you post this as well.
As you will see on the Forum we are looking to identify a name for a permanent/Ning-free URL. Any suggestions will be most welcome.

Thank you for posting such a rich array of links today—and I can second the observation that Simon is utterly brilliant and on target.

Thanks for the link to IBM's Many Eyes site. It's a marvellous site.
Snurl is a welcome shared discovery too.

Another excellent spot: it's an intriguing and engaging visualisation approach, with an interesting underlying metaphor.
