absolutely true! and yet he's quite actively seeking feedback right now, which is why i'd even consider it! . my writer's group taught me the value of feedback way back when, for you as a person and for your work . anyway it was just a thought or invite, no strings, except maybe in our DNA :) . or string theory . or for fish when you catch them -- just pulled out my fishing gear recently to share some with the godkids . time to eat, i'm getting loopy . bye

i'll check out twining . i already like it metaphorically speaking . thanks

the internship, apprenticeship actually . very basic but you have to start somewhere; it's with a local geekshop, learning web design: "Industry Connection, Inc. (ICI) is a proud provider of web development services for Businesses, Organizations, Associations, and Communities, serving the web development community's needs since 1993. We specialize in the creation of websites that are a natural extension of your corporate identity, that provide excellent ROI on your investment, and pleasurable experiences for your customers.

ICI was founded on the belief that online services create a true experience of what it is to be a global citizen, while creating and maintaining a sense of community that is missing in today's busy world. ICI is committed to all human beings having access to this experience, regardless of their level of computer literacy."

founder/owner is a friend of a friend

think i told you that every ten years or so since the 70s i leap back into cyberspace to see what i've missed as i work where the rubber hits the road (omg i'm quoting myself!) with time speeding up, it's time . the last thing i did was part-time internet customer service for lands' end to cover my benefits while consulting and doing a few LTE problem-solving stints . that stretch made me not want to be online at home because i was always at the keyboard in my workplaces . but here i am now . and instead of again repeating that i'm hungry, i'll leave you with it's being nice to get to know you, Lynn without an e

yes, well, since this is my first leap into the blogosphere, i'm a true case of there's no zealot like a convert (quote from john dean of watergate fame) and since i joined this net, and also let my arm be twisted by godkids and poetfriends into setting up a facebook page, both this past week, at the same time as i'm job searching on line ... me taking a breath ... unless i'm doing tai chi or sleeping or engaging in the little bits of contract work i'm doing to eat in the meantime, HERE I BE AT THE KEYS . it's not exactly that i'm interested in being a webdesigner, it's that it's accessible, at your won pace, and more or less an intuitive thing, much like learning BASIC or management information systems was way back when . i'm a systems thinker and that stuff attracts me . i may or may not do the apprenticeship and will be checking it out next week . they also hire from their apprentice pool though, but that's not the hook for me, an immersion is

arghhh . finding safely in this world . is that possible? . i actually like quieter music than they/phish do/es, or so i imagine, maybe maybe not, it's all in my head now isn't it? . one of my friends, an Israeli by birth, is singing with an Arab/Israeli/Palestinian band tonite . one kind of music i do usually like is folk music (nationally and internationally speaking), also fusions, and at one time i played the comb-and-waxed-paper in a kitchen band (that's a good story!), and i was really good at riffing poetic while playing "Amazing Grace Used To Be Her Favorite Song" LOL just remembering -- and we weren't quiet so, so much for truth in my statements :) . i'm not sure what's with this capitalize and then don't capitalize thing i've got going here . off to do errands and stuff . soon dude . oh, so are you lynn without an e or not, my friend?

phew, that phish, oh ish . after my errands i did tai chi by lake mendota which smells like fish and that's ok with me . madison is built around lakes, the capitol square is on an isthmus between lakes mendota and monona, and the yahara river that connects them continues south and small bedroom communities are found on the next two connected lakes, plus there's another small lake in town with the university of wisconsin arboretum incl restored prairie along it; i used to work there . and she goes on and on and on :) . did you go outside?

rock on, scream if it works, and i'll get on with crawling, i'm waiting for my report on those roses . i'll be at a sweat lodge all day tomorrow and seeing esty sing tonite, so you're off the hook until i get a couple job apps in and check on a friend's surgery monday . but i warned you i was persistent . as your friend, this is my ishy way of encouraging you to get a life if that's what you want . start with the roses, take a walk, flap your arms like wings as you walk and see what happens, bark like a dog and see if anyone notices . or something :)

evenin' . yes, when i check in it's with bbc, a local alternative station here in town and with air america my friend esty is one of the public affairs people at the local public radio station . she and i went to the lodge together today, as we usually do, and she's very intrigued with this net and i think will join . she grew up in a kibbutz in israel, fought in the army, helped start vets for peace here locally, and supports the palestinians pleas . anyway, she's interested and is a good friend and a good woman . and we did send you good healing energy :)
