A space to draw together group discussion about: (1) the appropriate technical platform for the development of Global Sensemaking project; (2) how we enable data to flow between existing tools; and (3) the shape of the tools to come.
If you log-in again now, you should have editing access to all maps (without requiring further permission). I suspect from your description, that your previous "guest viewing session" was still live in your browser after you completed the registration loop. We'll work on the code now to eliminate the appearance of this ambiguous signal in the future.
As we are planning to release a substantially updated version of Debategraph on Wednesday this week, you might prefer to wait for the new version to be uploaded before working on the map again (to keep the learning curve a simple as possible).
Finally figured out how to use DebateGraph. It's not hard at all so long as you ignore the control panel at the right and just read the prompts! Not happy with the character limit; just when I get on a roll explaining something, it starts flashing a warning at me.
This just in: all my changes were transmitted to the map properly. In the DebateGraph window, my additions are displayed. When I refresh this page, my changes do not appear. Something's missing...
Looks like the image referenced by the iFrame here needs to be re-generated (?).
BTW, this is a very good example of how Friend Connect enabling Debategraph and using a Ning Gadget could allow any user of this group to use Debategraph without having to create a new userid, etc. (That's the theory, at least)

Sent you an email with details on my DebateGraph experience. (Seemed like too much info to put here.)
Looks like a good concept. I'm eager to experiment some more after you've had a chance to bug fix. Also happy to help with testing as time allows.
